Day 1
We ended Genesis 6, and now we are starting Genesis 7! In preparation for the lessons to come, let’s read all of Genesis 7 to your Tiny Arrows!
Day 2
The flood will start soon, so God told Noah and his family to get into the ark! Today let’s read Genesis 7:1 and color, cut and glue everything on the ark!
The Lord said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.” – Genesis 7:1 NIV
Day 3
Noah filled the ark with 7 pairs of every clean animal! That’s 14 animals like sheep, cows, goats, deers and gazelles! Today let’s read Genesis 7:2 then have your Tiny Arrow color and count how many sheep were in the ark!
Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal. – Genesis 7:2 NIV
Day 4
There were 7 pairs of clean animals and 1 pair of unclean animals! That’s 2 animals like pigs, hares, camels and lizards! Today let’s read Genesis 7:2 and color and count how many pigs were in the ark!
and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate. – Genesis 7:2 NIV
Day 5
There were clean birds too! So there were 7 pairs of birds like doves! Today let’s read Genesis 7:3 and color and count how many doves were on the ark!
And also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. – Genesis 7:3 NIV
Day 6
God told Noah that in 7 days it would start to rain! Today let’s read Genesis 7:4-5 and make paper chains! Get 7 strips of green paper and 40 strips of blue paper! Number the green strips from 1-7 also writing on #7 “Get into the ark”. Then write 1-40 on the blue strips. On the first blue strip write down “The rain starts”. Start with all the green and link them together then get all the blue and link them to the end of the green chain! Now explain that Noah had 7 days left before the rain started and it would rain 40 days and 40 nights! Keep these links for the next 47 lessons! We will take one off day by day!
Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made. And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him. – Genesis 7:4-5 NIV
Day 7
Noah was 600 years old when it started to flood! Today let’s read Genesis 7:6 and take the 1st link off the green chain. Then add to the first blue chain, “Happy Birthday Noah!”
Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth. – Genesis 7:6 NIV
Day 8
There are 6 more days until the floodwaters come! Today let’s take the 2nd link off the green chain.
Day 9
Now there are only 5 more days until the floodwaters come! Today let’s take the 3rd link off the green chain.
Day 10
Noah and his family entered the ark to escape the flood! Today let’s read Genesis 7:7 and take the 4th green link off our chain. Then get to high ground! Get to the highest point in your house and pretend that your trying to escape the flood! Tell them that no matter how high people climbed, even the tallest trees or mountains, no one could escape the flood that God caused!
And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood. – Genesis 7:7 NIV
Day 11
Noah and his family were safe on board the ark! The animals climbed on board too! Today let’s read Genesis 7:8-9 and take off the 5th green link. Then make an animal parade with the coloring page! Color, cut and glue the animals in a line!
Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground, male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah. – Genesis 7:8-9 NIV
Day 12
The animals are on board! Today let’s take off the 6th green link then have an animal parade! Have your Tiny Arrow dress up like their favorite animal and march around singing this song!
Animal Parade
God called all the animals to the ark
To the ark
To the ark
God called all the animals to the ark
An animal parade
Unclean animals came 2 by 2
Came 2 by 2

An animal parade
Day 13
Noah and his family are on board the ark, and so are the animals! Today let’s take off the 7th green link, because tomorrow the rain will start! Then print off the coloring page and peek inside the ark and find certain things; Noah, a giraffe, and a carrot!
Day 14
It’s started to rain just like God said! Not only did it start to rain but water was bursting from the ground! Today let’s read Genesis 7:10-12, take off the 1st blue link and color the coloring page!
And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth. In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month — on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights. – Genesis 7:10-12 NIV
Day 15
The rain is coming down even more! Today let’s take off the 2nd blue link and create rain by having your Tiny Arrow go through a sprinkler/hose or by using a watering can!
Day 16
There is even more rain! Today let’s take off the 3rd blue link and play an audio of rain falling and ask your Tiny Arrow if they know what the sound is!
Day 17
Now on the day it started to rain, Noah and his entire family got on board the ark! What would have happened if Noah and his family had built an ark, filled it with food and animals but did not get on board? Who would take care of the animals and feed them? What if just Noah got on board without his family? Could you take care of all of animals by yourself everyday? No! He needed help! God gave him a family to help him with his task! Today let’s read Genesis 7:13 and take off the 4th blue link. Then ask your Tiny Arrow how they can be helpful with the tasks God has given your family!
On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark. – Genesis 7:13 NIV
Day 18
It’s still raining! Today let’s take off the 5th blue link and ask your Tiny Arrows if they remember the animals going on board in pairs! The people went on board in pairs too! Count the number of people that went on board as you cut and glue them going to the ark!
Day 19
It’s raining all over the world! Over everyone! Today let’s take off the 6th blue link and ask your Tiny Arrow if they can guess how many people live in their city/town, state and the world. What is there are over 2 million people living in their city/town, over 28 million in their state and over 7 billion in the world? What would have happened if Noah had not built an ark? Would there be that many people living in the world? No! What if Noah tried to hop on board after it had been raining for a couple of days. He might have flooded the boat! When God tells us to do something it can affect people around us or after us! Now let’s pray that God helps us to do everything He tells us to do and when He tells us to do it!
Day 20
The rain is still coming down, and Noah’s family is busy! They all have a job to help! Today let’s take off the 7th blue link, then customize, color and cut out the number of people in your family (we will need this for the next lesson as well). Everyone has a purpose and a task! All of them might be different, but all are essential! Now ask your Tiny Arrow what they think everyone’s task in their family is.
Day 21
The rain is still coming down, and everyone on board the ark is busy! Today let’s take off the 8th blue link! Then let’s color and cut out the beach day essentials then glue at least one to each person (making sure each person has at least one) or you can glue more to one person if you want. (Dad gets keys, mom picnic basket, etc.) Then as your Tiny Arrow is coloring the the van, tell them a story. What if you and your family were going to the beach. Your father was in charge of driving and brought the keys, your mom the food your siblings the towels, toys, drinks and sunscreen. To have the basic essentials for a fun day at the beach everyone would need to bring something! Now place each person on the van, then take one off. Explain the importance of each person’s role in the car. Ex, if Daddy didn’t come, we could not get there because the van would not start without the keys. If Mommy didn’t come we would not have anything to eat and we would get hungry. If the person bringing the sunscreen did not come, everyone might burn! If everyone doesn’t get in the van, you will be lacking in one area. Each person is essential to a good day at the beach! Don’t forget to take off the 9th and 10th this weekend!
Day 22
The rain is coming down still and everyone is working hard inside the ark! Today let’s take off the 9th blue link!
Day 23
It’s been raining for 10 days! Oh my! Today let’s take off the 10th blue link and ask your Tiny Arrow if they can remember the last time it rained near them. Did it rain for a few minutes before stopping, a few hours or a few days?
Day 24
The rain is still coming down! Today let’s take off the 11th blue link and ask your Tiny Arrow’s what would have happened if the wild animals had not obeyed God and went to the ark? Would we have any giraffes? Any camels? Any lions? Then ask them if they remember a story about lions from the Bible!
They had with them every wild animal according to its kind. – Genesis 7:14 NIV
Day 19
Everyone is safe on board! That’s a good thing, because it’s still raining! Today let’s take off the 12th blue link and read more of Genesis 7:14! all livestock according to their kinds. – Genesis 7:14 NIV
Day 20
The wild animals and livestock are safe on board the ark! What about the creatures that crawl on the ground, like bugs? Do you think they made it too? Yes! Today let’s take off the 13th blue link and read more of Genesis 7:14. What would have happened if the creatures that move along the ground had not obeyed God and went to the ark? Would we have any lizards? Any snakes? Any locusts? Then let’s try to remember a story about locusts from the Bible!
every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind. – Genesis 7:14 NIV
Day 21
The animals, livestock and crawling creatures are on board. So are the birds! Even though they can fly, they were safe inside the ark from all the rain! Today let’s take off the 14th blue link and read the rest of Genesis 7:14! What would have happened if the birds had not obeyed God and went to the ark? Would we have any parrots? Any eagles? Any doves? Then let’s try to remember a story about doves from the Bible!
and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings. – Genesis 7:14 NIV
Day 22
It’s still raining, but every animal that breathed made it on board the ark! Today let’s read Genesis 7:15, take off the 15th blue link, and take a walk! Let’s look at how amazing the world is that God created! Even when people were so sinful that he wanted to destroy the earth, he still made a way for people to survive! Let’s thank God for restarting the world through Noah, who was righteous and blameless and point out all the animals that we see! None would have been here if their ancestors had not gotten on the ark!
Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark. The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. – Genesis 7:15 NIV
Day 23
Now that everyone was safe on board the ark, God shut the door! Today let’s read Genesis 7:15-16 and take off the 16th blue link. Then go outside, the front or back door, then open the door. Have your Tiny Arrow race inside to get out of the rain. Then close the door.
Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark. The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord shut him in. – Genesis 7:15-16 NIV

Day 28
It has been 21 days of rain. Noah doesn’t know if yet, but he’s over half way done with the rain! Today let’s take off the 21st blue link and have your Tiny Arrow do an activity for a set amount of time. Then when they are just over half way, tell them that they are just over half way done!
Day 29
There is still more rain to come, but its already been 22 days of it! Today let’s take off the 22nd blue link.
Day 30
The rain has not stopped for 23 days. Today let’s take off the 23rd blue link and ask your Tiny Arrow if they think they would be used to the rain by then, or if they would want it to stop!
Day 31
24 days of rain! Oh my! Today let’s take off the 24th blue link.
Day 32
It’s day 25 and still it keep raining! Today let’s take off the 25th blue link and ask your Tiny Arrow what their favorite kind of weather is.

Day 39
Its been 32 days of rain! The rain must be very high now! Today let’s take off the 32nd blue link and grab something that floats. Place it on the bottom of your sink, bucket, cup or even a bowl. Have your Tiny Arrow slowly pour water in the container and watch the object begin to get higher and higher! Do this until the object is pretty high off of the bottom of the container, just like the ark must be pretty high after 32 days of rain!
Day 40
It has been raining so long! 33 days! Today let’s take off the 33rd blue link.
Day 41
The water’s came for 40 days! Oh my! It’s only been 34 so far! Today let’s read Genesis 7:17-20, take off the 34th blue link then let’s cut and glue the ark on the page and color everything underneath it blue for water!
For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits. – Genesis 7:17-20 NIV
Day 42
Everything that Noah had known was now covered with water. Everything that was once dry, was wet! Today let’s take off the 35th blue link then go outside and sketch! Look around you and draw what you see! Let’s try to draw a tree, animal, person and house. Then let’s draw a blue line above what your Tiny Arrow drew! Everything was covered in water! Everything!
Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark. – Genesis 7:21-23 NIV

God made sure everything was on the ark before it rained, he even shut the door of the ark to make sure that it was shut tightly! Now, let’s thank God that he is always looking out for us, and always wants to help us do what he asked us to do!
The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days. – Genesis 7:24 NIV
